Run with TAPS in 2019

It’s not too late to commit to setting your resolution to run with TAPS in 2019. We’ve got two fun races coming up in February and March, with each race offering multiple distances for every level of runner.

The last day to register for the Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend is Monday, January 28. The weekend event will be held February 21-24 in Orlando, Florida. Entries are available for all distances—5K, 10K, half marathon and the Fairy Tale Challenge, which is the 10K run on Saturday and the half marathon on Sunday. Finishers not only receive a medal for each race, but also get a special Fairy Tale Challenge medal for completing both races.

Survivors and supporters who register by January 28 for the Disney Princess race pay NO RACE ENTRY FEES.

From March 15-17, the Yuengling Shamrock Marathon Weekend in Virginia Beach, Virginia, offers six running events: Yuengling Shamrock Marathon, Anthem Shamrock Half Marathon, TowneBank Shamrock 8K, Shamrock Marathon Relay, Operation Smile Shamrock Final Mile and the Leprechaun Dash. Runners who are looking for more of a challenge can participate in one of the two special challenges that the weekend offers. There is a distance for everyone.

Team TAPS also gives our supporters the opportunity to honor the fallen by providing them the TAPS singlet and hero photo to wear in races across the country. Our match program pairs runners with fallen military heroes. TAPS families feel the support of a whole nation when they see their loved ones' faces flash by on the race course.

We're excited for 2019 as we continue to make every mile a memory in honor of our loved ones. Save the dates for our other favorite races:

• Army Ten Miler - October 13, 2019 - registration opens this spring
• Marine Corps Marathon - October 27, 2019 - registration opens April 3
• TCS New York City Marathon - November 3, 2019 - applications open in February
