TAPS Young Adults Experiences promote care, peer connection and personal well-being in locations across the country for military survivors ages 18 to 30. These one-of-a-kind experiences provide a safe space to be themselves, have fun, and focus on well-being and personal development.

OVERVIEW

From July 27 to 30, 2023, TAPS Young Adults will take part in a one-of-a-kind experience in beautiful Portland, Oregon and at Skamania Lodge in Stevenson, Washington, focusing on Growth and Discovery through the Outdoors. We will participate in outdoor activities such as hiking, waterfall viewing and ziplining at the Adventure Park. Programming throughout the event will support opportunities for self-care, connection and emotional well-being. We look forward to having you join us!

This experience will have moderate physical activity to include hiking.

 

EVENT FEES

Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, TAPS is able to provide this event to surviving young adults at no cost.

Flights, lodging, meals, activities and supplies for all attendees will be provided.

TAPS Young Adults Program staff will be in contact after applicants have been approved and registered to confirm travel details.

This online entry request form (look for the blue button at the top of this page) will close on May 11, 2023.

Please note the following event and participation criteria:

  1. Participant to be within the ages of 18 to 30 years old
  2. Complete high school by at the start of this event
  3. Be willing to participate in all activities within the scope of the TAPS Young Adults Pacific Northwest Experience.
