TAPS Young Adults Experiences promote care, peer connection and personal well-being in locations across the country for military survivors ages 18 to 30. These one-of-a-kind experiences provide a safe space to be themselves, have fun, and focus on well-being and personal development.


Young Adults White Water Rafting




From June 15 to 18, 2023, TAPS Young Adults will take part in a one-of-a-kind experience in beautiful Pigeon Forge, Tennessee at Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort, focusing on Confidence, Empowerment and Growth. We will participate in outdoor activities such as White Water Rafting and spend a day at DollyWood parks having fun, touring and connecting with peers and program guests. Programming throughout the event will support and empower participants as they build confidence and discover self. We look forward to having you join us!

This experience will have prolonged periods of walking and physical activity. (accommodations
can be discussed as needed).



Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, TAPS is able to provide this event to surviving young adults at no cost.

Flights, lodging, meals, activities and supplies for all attendees will be provided.

TAPS Young Adults Program staff will be in contact after applicants have been approved and registered to confirm travel details.



This online entry request form (look for the blue button at the top of this page) will close on May 2, 2023.

Please note the following event and participation criteria:

  1. Participant to be within the ages of 18 to 30 years old
  2. Complete high school by at the start of this event
  3. Be willing to participate in all activities within the scope of the TAPS Young Adults Mountain Experience.
