Event Overview

TAPS is thrilled to announce an exciting sports & entertainment opportunity designed for surviving families whose loss occurred more than three years ago. In partnership with the NFL, TAPS survivors will be hosted for 4 days/3 nights of unique experiences in the greater Las Vegas Area. Survivors will come together for rich and playful moments while exploring Las Vegas PLUS outdoor activities meant to allow time for enjoying nature together in the surrounding areas! With the NFL Pro Bowl Games taking place the same weekend, there is a possibility of survivors taking part in some NFL themed activities!

During the weekend, TAPS families will also have time to connect with fellow survivors as we remember our fallen heroes and celebrate their life and service.

Lodging and Transportation

Flights, lodging and event transportation are sponsored by the NFL, as well as additional group activities and all group meals. TAPS survivors will stay at a TAPS selected and booked hotel in or around the Las Vegas Strip. Attendees will be responsible for any incidentals such as baggage fees, snacks, etc.

Important Information

Although TAPS would love for all TAPS survivors to attend, we have a very limited number of spots available. For this reason, this unique adventure will be filled using a random selection process. Please note the following eligibility rules to make sure this is the event for you:

  • Survivor Experiences are intended for those military loss survivors whose loss occurred more than three years ago and who have attended previous TAPS Events. If you are within two years of your loss, we encourage you to attend a TAPS Togethers event, a TAPS Regional Seminar, and/or the TAPS National Military Survivor Seminar.

  • Families can have a minimum of one (1) and a maximum of four (4) surviving family members represent their Fallen Hero, for this event.

  • All participants must be at least 10 years of age or older at the start of the event (February 3, 2023).

  • All attendees must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to take part in this event. An individual is considered fully vaccinated two weeks after their second dose in a two-dose series (Pfizer or Moderna), or two weeks after a single-dose vaccine (Johnson & Johnson). You will be required to show proof of vaccination prior to travel arrangements being made.

  • Those surviving families who have previously attended a trip or event via TAPS Sports & Entertainment where flights and lodging, have both been provided (This does NOT include TAPS National or Regional Military Survivor Seminars) are not eligible to attend. Those who attended the 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, or 2022 NFL Pro Bowl Experience with teams4taps are not eligible to participate in this experience.

  • Applicants will be notified the week of December 19, if they have been selected to attend.

Entry Form Details

We are asking those interested in attending this event to complete the online entry form (look for the blue button at the top of this page), which is open on Thursday, December 1 and closes once 100 entries have been submitted OR on Monday, December 5 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern, whichever comes first.
