New York Yankees Field of Dreams with TAPS

teams4taps is thrilled to announce a special opportunity for TAPS kids to honor their heroes with the New York Yankees on July 4, 2018 in New York City!
New York Yankees Field of Dreams with TAPS will include 20 young survivors (ages 6 to 13) who will be paired with a Yankees starting player to take the field for the national anthem. Kids will then join their families in the stands and watch the ball game as guests of the team! Prior to the game, we will start with a TAPS Heroes breakfast hosted at the Hard Rock Cafe at Yankee Stadium.
teams4taps is looking for surviving children who live in or near New York City, as well as surviving children from across the country, who have a connection to the Yankees. We are asking each applicant to share with us your child's, family's or loved one's story and/or connection to the Yankees.
Application Details
Please fill out the New York Yankees Field of Dreams with TAPS online application by 5:00 PM (Eastern) on April 23, 2018.
TAPS is honored to partner with the Yankees to provide this experience for children grieving the loss of a loved one in the U.S. Armed Forces. TAPS kids must be accompanied by a parent/guardian or a surviving adult family member with permission from their parent/guardian. Children under the age of 6 or youth above the age of 13 will not be eligible to participate on field. There will be a limit of 2-3 adult attendees per family.
If we receive more applications than available spaces, a random selection will be used to select the TAPS families who will participate in the event. Priority will be given to those who have not previously attended a Yankees event with teams4taps.
