Denver Broncos Salute to Service Play 60 Clinic

On behalf of our friends at the Denver Broncos, TAPS children ages 8 to 14 are invited to a PLAY 60 Clinic at the Pat Bowlen Fieldhouse, the official practice facility for the Denver Broncos. 

Event Overview

This initiative is part of the NFL's Salute to Service month.  NFL PLAY 60 is the National Football League's campaign to encourage kids to be active for 60 minutes a day in order to help reverse the trend of childhood obesity. NFL PLAY 60 is implemented at the grassroots level through NFL’s in-school, after-school and team-based programs.

TAPS Kids will take part in activities and drills as a group focused on teamwork and developing their football skills.  It is anticipated that current and former Denver Broncos players, in addition to Miles the Mascot and Broncos Cheerleaders, will be on-site at the activity stations. 

Transportation

TAPS families are responsible for their own transportation. Parking will be available at the venue.

Important Information

This is a VIP opportunity for children ages 8 - 14 who have lost a loved one serving in the Armed Forces and their families. TAPS kids must be accompanied by a parent/guardian or a surviving adult family member with permission from their parent/guardian. There is a limit of 5 people per family, with a maximum of 2 adults per family or 2 individuals who do not meet the age requirement (i.e. children under 8 or over 14) per family.

Although TAPS would love for all surviving families to attend, there are a limited amount of spots available. For this reason, if there are more entries than spots, the opportunity will be filled via a random selection. Those who have recently been part of an NFL Salute to Service event or attended a Denver Broncos game with TAPS in the last 12 months will have a lower priority in the selection process.
