TAPS Togethers: Miami Beach Botanical Garden
This event is open to military adult and child survivors.
TAPS families are invited to meet and connect with other survivors while enjoying a stroll through the Miami Beach Botanical Garden in Miami Beach, Florida.
Flowering trees, orchids, philodendrons, and more than 100 palm species accent the 3-acre Miami Beach Botanical Garden. Special features include the koi pond, fountains, Japanese Garden, Native Garden and Edible Garden and the Collins Canal Promenade. The central Great Lawn provides plenty of open space to relax and play.

Location: Miami Beach, Florida 33139
Registration is required: Once you receive your registration confirmation, you will receive additional details for this event.
Parking: Metered parking is available along 19th Street directly in front of the Garden and in an adjacent lot between Meridian Avenue and Convention Center Drive.
Upon Arrival: You will meet up with other survivors in the Entry Plaza, under the Live Oak tree by 1:45 p.m. See the Garden map for the location of the Entry Plaza.
Attire: Casual attire. We encourage you to wear any TAPS attire you may have and/or a photo button of your loved one as this will allow you to more easily locate one another at the event.
What to Bring: Please bring water, any snacks you may need, and a curious attitude.
Cost: Admission to the Miami Beach Botanical Garden is free. Parking costs vary from $1 to $4 per hour.

The majority of the garden paths are wheelchair accessible.

While we are promoting this event, it is not directly organized or hosted by TAPS. Therefore, TAPS will not have a presence at the event. This is simply an opportunity for our survivors to meet up, connect and build community within their local areas.
