TAPS Togethers: A Day of Service at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly
This event is open to all TAPS survivors, both adults and children, who have experienced a military or veteran loss.
Join your TAPS family for a meaningful day of service at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Together, you will honor our fallen heroes by cleaning and caring for headstones while connecting with fellow survivors.

Location: Holly, Michigan 48442
Two-part registration is required: Once you receive your registration confirmation, you will receive additional instructions for registering with the Great Lakes National Cemetery to confirm your participation and help them plan for the number of lunches needed.
Time: 9:30 a.m. Please arrive 15 to 30 minutes early to get settled before the event begins.
What to Bring: A 5-gallon bucket and a soft scrub brush.
Cleaning Tips: Only use soft brushes and gentle cleaners, such as water or a non-ionic cleaner (neutral pH of 7). Never use wire brushes, power washers, or harsh cleaners, such as bleach.
Attire: We encourage you to wear your TAPS attire and/or a photo button of your loved one if you have them.
Lunch: Lunch will be provided for all volunteers.
Note: While we are promoting this community event, it is not directly organized by TAPS. Therefore, TAPS will not have a host at the event. This is simply an opportunity for our survivors to meet up, connect and build community within their local areas.
