TAPS Survivors Hiking

TAPS Survivors Hiking

In partnership with the National Park Trust, TAPS has prepared for you a unique opportunity to share time in the great outdoors with your fellow survivors as we hike through Wondering Woods in Mammoth Cave National Park and experience the extended Historic Cave Tour!

All populations and accessibility levels are welcome to attend, but please remember that the primary activity on this event will be hiking. Please register by October 26, 2024 to secure your space. Snacks, lunch and water, as well as all tour expenses will be provided free for all participants.

We will spend our day on guided experiences with National Parks Service Rangers, thanks to National Park Trust, who will provide both education and support our physical safety in a variety of outdoor spaces. For more information, visit the National Park Trust.

We will begin our day at Mammoth Cave Visitors Center at 9:30 a.m for a welcome from the National Parks Service, National Park Trust and TAPS. We will hike Wondering Woods, have lunch and be led through the Historic Cave Tour, with programming to close at 3:15 p.m.

Any gear and equipment needed for this experience will be provided to families at no cost.

If you have any questions, please contact Rachel Hunsell at adultprograms@taps.org or call 800-959-TAPS (8277).
