West Creek Ranch, Emigrant, Montana
Entry Form Open from May 1, 2022 to May 14, 2022

In accordance with the most current information available, as of May 1, 2022, TAPS lifted the requirement to provide proof of full vaccination to attend in-person events. We will continue to monitor COVID variants and we may adjust protocols to ensure safe and healthy gatherings. These adjustments could once again include requiring proof of full vaccination and/or a negative COVID test.

All surviving men 18 and older, grieving the loss of a loved one who served in the U.S. Armed Forces, are warmly invited to join TAPS for the Montana Men’s Retreat. Together we will step away from the daily grind, step outside our comfort zone, and enjoy an incredible opportunity in America’s breathtaking wilderness to refocus, honor our loved ones, and connect with other men who understand.

SCHEDULE

Day 1:  On this travel day, everyone should arrive at West Creek Ranch before 5 p.m. TAPS staff will be there to greet you and get you checked in. We’ll have an opportunity to get settled in, meet fellow survivors, enjoy dinner together, and relax.

Day 2:  We’ll start the day with breakfast, get an overview of what to expect, and we’ll work together to get our questions answered and build our team. Some of our group activities may include golf, hiking, and horseback riding. We’ll wrap up with a group dinner in the evening.

Day 3: The third day will include more group activities as well as some free time to relax and further connect with your teammates.

Day 4: On our final day of activities, we'll have the opportunity to engage in a team challenge event, building upon the week’s activities. Then, we'll wrap up our time together to reflect on our new connections and our next journeys ahead.

Day 5: We'll say our final goodbyes and travel home.

ADVENTURE LEVEL

This retreat is rated as a light-intensity adventure. We'll be active and everyone will have an opportunity to challenge themselves. Activities will involve light physical exertion. Much of our time will be spent outdoors enjoying the Montana scenery. There will also be time to relax and connect with one another.

LODGING AND TRANSPORTATION

Thanks to the generosity of TAPS partners and donors, lodging at West Creek Ranch is provided for all attendees from Monday to Friday, September 5 to 9, 2022.

ENTRY FORM DETAILS

Entry forms will be open from May 1 to 14, 2022 (look for the blue button at the top of this page at that time).  TAPS will review all applications and communicate selection of participants no later than June 6.  TAPS will review applications, giving first consideration for those who have never attended this or any other TAPS men’s event, in order that the greatest number of survivors can have an opportunity to attend.  Thank you for your understanding.
