Surviving Siblings white water raft

OVERVIEW

Step away from the daily stressors of life and immerse yourself in a safe environment to honor your loved one, be around others who understand, and embrace new experiences. Designed to challenge you emotionally and physically, all activities will help you to learn how to "be" in the moment and create new bonds with those who “get it.”

All participants must be at least 18 years of age.

SCHEDULE

Day 1: Wednesday is your travel day. TAPS staff will be available to greet you in the evening, but there is no formal programming this day. You can take the evening to relax and settle in.

Day 2: Following breakfast, we will have introductions and a group activity. Then we will head to axe throwing, a moderate physical activity that relieves stress and allows group bonding!

Day 3: We will travel to the U.S. National Whitewater Center, where we will utilize the world's largest man-made whitewater river, featuring class II-IV rapids. We will also go hiking on the property AND complete their high-ropes course!

Day 4: A group activity is planned for the morning, with some free time scheduled in the afternoon! Closing session will take place in the evening, and then you are welcome to spend the remainder of your time with your peers, or engage in some solo relaxation.

Day 5: Following breakfast, TAPS staff still will be available to bid you farewell. There is no programming or activities on this day.
