TAPS is a family, here for all who are grieving a military loss. The National Military Suicide Survivor Seminar and Good Grief Camp is open to all who are grieving a death by suicide, and we warmly welcome everyone to be with us for these three days of hope and healing.
ATTENDEES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Registration Costs: $125 per adult and $30 per child This fee covers all workshops, materials, sharing groups, onsite activities and seven full meals. Licensed, insured child care is available for children ages 0-3 for the $30 per child registration fee. Seminar and Good Grief Camp fees are refundable until Aug. 30, 2016.
- Lodging: $126 per night at the TradeWinds Resort The group discount rate is available until Aug. 30, 2016.

If the registration fees, lodging or air travel costs are barriers to your attending, please let us know. We understand that the costs associated with attending this Seminar may prevent some from being able to join us, and we want to be sure everyone has access to this loving support. We are able to offer registration fee waivers and lodging assistance based on need and upon application.
Our partners at Fisher House's Hero Miles are able to offer donated airfare to many survivors as well.
There is no limit to the number of times you can apply for registration fee waivers and lodging assistance. All requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, based on factors including income and receipt of SGLI. Remember also that all TAPS Regional Survivor Seminars include sessions specifically for suicide loss and are an additional option for you. These events have no registration fee or hotel cost — we take care of all your expenses once you arrive at the event.
To apply for registration fee waivers or hotel assistance, please first register for the event. After registration is complete and all intake forms are filled out, you will be able to apply for assistance. To apply for donated airfare, please visit our flights page. All applications for fee waivers or lodging assistance must be made before August 19th.
We want you to be with us and receive all the love and support TAPS has to offer. We work hard to ensure our programs are accessible and appreciate you understanding that we are a nonprofit organization funded by donations. We strive to provide quality programming with the best experts in suicide loss in a setting that brings comfort. If you need it, please let us help you get to Florida in September; we have hugs waiting.
