SEMINAR FEES

TAPS is a family, here for all who are grieving a military loss. The National Military Suicide Survivor Seminar and Good Grief Camp is open to all who are grieving a death by suicide, and we warmly welcome everyone to be with us for these three days of hope and healing.

ATTENDEES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Registration Costs: $125 per adult and $30 per child This fee covers all workshops, materials, sharing groups, onsite activities and seven full meals. Licensed, insured child care is available for children ages 0-3 for the $30 per child registration fee. Seminar and Good Grief Camp fees are refundable until Aug. 30, 2016.
  • Lodging: $126 per night at the TradeWinds Resort The group discount rate is available until Aug. 30, 2016.
  • Travel to and from the event.

PLEASE NOTE: FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AVAILABLE

If the registration fees, lodging or air travel costs are barriers to your attending, please let us know. We understand that the costs associated with attending this Seminar may prevent some from being able to join us, and we want to be sure everyone has access to this loving support. We are able to offer registration fee waivers and lodging assistance based on need and upon application.

Our partners at Fisher House's Hero Miles are able to offer donated airfare to many survivors as well.

There is no limit to the number of times you can apply for registration fee waivers and lodging assistance. All requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, based on factors including income and receipt of SGLI. Remember also that all TAPS Regional Survivor Seminars include sessions specifically for suicide loss and are an additional option for you. These events have no registration fee or hotel cost — we take care of all your expenses once you arrive at the event.

After registration is complete and all intake forms are filled out, you will be able to apply for assistance.
