TAPS Togethers: "Men of the Fighting Lady" Movie, Chehalis

This event is open to military adults survivors only.

In recognition of the 70th Anniversary of the movie "Men of the Fighting Lady," TAPS adult survivors are invited to join in a viewing of this 1954 American war drama film. During the Korean War in the Sea of Japan, a team of Navy pilots on an aircraft carrier targets an enemy railroad, aware it's rebuilt daily. After a tragic loss, they reassess their approach. When pilot Kenneth Schecter is blinded in a critical mission, Lt. Howard Thayer steps up to guide him to safety.

Lt. Howard Thayer's son, Robert Thayer, is guest speaker at this special event.

Registration is required: Once you receive your registration confirmation, you will receive additional details for this event.

Upon Arrival: Upon your arrival, you will be greeted by your Peer Mentor host. 

Attire: Casual attire. We welcome you to wear any TAPS attire and/or photo button of your loved one if you have them.
