TAPS Togethers: Gold Star Families Memorial Monument Dedication and Special Remembrance Ceremony

This event is open to military adults and children survivors only. 

Our friends at the Woody Williams Foundation have invited all TAPS Families to attend the Gold Star Families Memorial Monument Dedication and Special Remembrance Ceremony on Thursday, November 2 at the National WWII Museum in New Orleans. TAPS Families will receive VIP seating and your loved ones will be honored during the ceremony. 

This special event is part of the 2023 Congressional Medal of Honor Society Convention in which 30 of our nation's Medal of Honor recipients will be in attendance. The National WWII Museum's Liberation Pavilion Exhibit Hall will also open that day.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

Registration: If you would like to take part in this special event, please email our TAPS Togethers Team at tapstogethers@taps.org by October 24, 2023, to receive the registration form. Upon submission of your registration form, we will follow up with additional details about the event via email.

Attire: Business Casual. We welcome you to wear your TAPS Photo Button on this special occasion as we honor your loved one. 

Time: Check-in is at 12:00 p.m. Ceremony is at 1:00 p.m.

Fees: Event is free. Attenees may need to cover fee for parking.
