TAPS Togethers: National Park Fishing Day
All survivors are invited to join us along the Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational River in Lackawaxen, Pennsylvania, just northwest of New York City, New York.
In partnership with the National Park Trust and Trout Unlimited, TAPS has prepared for you a unique opportunity to share time in the great outdoors with your fellow survivors through fly fishing! Every participant will be provided with a rod and reel and small tackle to take home and will have the opportunity to learn from our friends at Trout Unlimited the basics of fly fishing!
All ages and accessibility levels are welcome to attend. Please register by August 7, 2023, to guarantee your rod and reel. Lunch, snacks and water will be provided as well as all fishing equipment.
Rangers at the National Parks Service will provide their expertise in fishing education and support our physical safety in a variety of outdoor spaces. For more information, visit the National Park Trust or Trout Unlimited.
If you have any questions, please contact Rachel Hunsell at adultprograms@taps.org or call 800-959-TAPS (8277).
