TAPS Friendsgiving - Milwaukee
This event is open to surviving military adults and children.
We welcome you to join us for a TAPS Friendsgiving: Milwaukee Veteran's Day Parade Walk and Lunch.
The local survivor group Being There-Reaching Out (BTRO) invited TAPS to join them in the Milwaukee Veterans Day parade, followed by a sponsored lunch. We welcome you to join BTRO and TAPS in the Milwaukee Veterans Day Parade.
This November and into December, our TAPS family is leaning into the idea of Friendsgiving. Even in the strange, imperfect grief world, we can still get together and celebrate what we know to be true - that we aren’t alone, that we are part of something bigger than ourselves, and that it does help to share pie or turkey sandwiches with people who “get it.”
TAPS Friendsgiving is an opportunity to support your local survivor community, or you may want to find a local survivor community. Attending a Friendsgiving event is a great opportunity to do both. We hope you can join us!
