Remission Of Fees For The Children Of A Disabled Veteran
ELIGIBILITY
- Children only
- Cause of death must be ruled line of duty, during a period of war; suicides are covered provided it can be proved that they were service connected (post-traumatic stress)
- Service member must have been an Indiana state resident for at least 36 months at some point in their life. Student must meet in-state tuition requirements to be eligible.
- Can be used with federal benefits
BENEFITS
- Waiver of tuition and fees for 124 credit hours
- Does not cover room, board or books
- Can be used for graduate studies
- Must be used at an Indiana state-funded post-secondary institution
DOCUMENTS
- Copy of DD1300 or DD214
- Copy of service member's death certificate
- Proof of residency
- FASFA
- Proof of academic standing
Application due date: Due at least 30 days prior to the end of the semester
