Clyde Douglas is Executive Vice President and Chief Member Value Officer at USAA, where he leads efforts to enhance the end-to-end experience and value delivered to USAA’s members, serving military families, veterans, and those who have honorably served our nation. In this role, he oversees enterprise-wide initiatives focused on service excellence, operational performance, and member impact. Clyde brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in the insurance industry, with deep expertise in claims operations, transformation, and large-scale organizational leadership. Prior to joining USAA, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer of Global Claims at Chubb, where he led global claims transformation, digital innovation, and operational strategy across multiple regions. At USAA, Clyde previously served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Claims, leading a team of more than 7,000 employees dedicated to supporting members during some of their most challenging moments. Before entering the insurance industry, Clyde served for nine years in the United States Coast Guard, an experience that continues to shape his commitment to service, leadership, and supporting military-connected families.
