ABOUT THE CAMP
This 4 day - 3 night camp experience will be filled with traditional themed camp activities, as well as grief education and emotional support. All activities will be led by an experienced and trained grief facilitator. In addition, our goal is to pair each child with a trained military mentor.
Campers are often comforted knowing that there are other children who understand what they are feeling and experiencing and will also have an opportunity to memorialize their loved one. The children will learn coping skills and develop friendships and support systems that will last long after they have returned home.
HOW TO REGISTER
This camp has a fully refundable registration fee of $50 per family. This deposit is refunded after the camp has taken place. During the camp all lodging and meals will be provided but transportation to and from camp is your responsibility. Registration will open approximately 3 months prior to the event. More details about drop-off and pick-up times/locations and a camp schedule will be provided at a later date.
