TAPS Togethers: The White House Tour
We extend this opportunity to participate in this event for military survivors only.
Your TAPS family is in your community!
We warmly welcome all those survivors in the Washington D.C. area to join us for an exciting tour of The White House. Tours typically include a walk through several rooms in the East Wing of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue Northwest, including the Blue Room, Red Room and Green Room; the State Dining Room; the China Room; and a view of the White House Rose Garden. A visit to the White House can be one of the most memorable experiences during any trip to the nation's capital!
There is a two-part registration for this event. First, click on the blue register now button above and complete your registration through the TAPS event portal. Second, upon receipt of your registration confirmation email, you must click on The White House tour registration link provided to enter your personal information and complete your registration. Registrations are first come first serve.
The specific tour time will be provided by The White House 2-3 weeks prior to the tour date. Please note that the White House tour schedule is subject to change, with little notice, based on inclement weather or official use.
The White House Tour entrance is located in Sherman Park at 15th Street Northwest and Alexander Hamilton Place Northwest. If arriving by rideshare, use the White House Visitor Center (WHVC) as the drop-off address. The WHVC is located at 1450 Pennsylvania Avenue Northwest, Washington, D.C. 20230, which is one block from the White House.
