iRest meditation is a form of Yoga Nidra (the yoga of sleep) designed to combat symptoms of metal illness and trauma.
What to expect in an iRest class: 30-45 minutes of guided meditation
What to bring to an iRest class: As iRest is a variation on the yoga of sleep, please wear comfortable soft clothing. While you can do iRest while sitting in a chair, the experience is best enjoyed laying on the ground with a blanket for warmth, and a pillow under your knees if you experience discomfort in your lower back. Eye masks are also welcome.
