TAPS Talks: Meditation for Uncertain Times
Presented by the TAPS Institute for Hope and Healing®, this live connection with Heather Stang, MA, C-IATY and moderated by TAPS Care Groups Manager, Tara Woodruff, allows participants to experience the power of RAIN meditation to ease difficult emotions and tap into your inner wisdom and insight. This technique can be applied during a regular meditation practice, or on-the-spot in real life situations when you feel overwhelmed. No previous meditation experience is necessary!
MA, C-IATYHeather is the author of Mindfulness and Grief and is the host of the Mindfulness and Grief Podcast. She holds a Master’s Degree in Thanatology and is a certified yoga therapist. Heather serves on the TAPS Board of Advisors and partners with repected organizations including: The National Fallen Firefighter’s Foundation, National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization, Association of Death Education and Counseling, Maryland Hospital Association, and the LiveOnNY Organ Donation Network.
