Find Comfort and Healing Online
TAPS online groups are here for you wherever you are in your grief— and wherever you are in the country or the world. The TAPS Online Community allows easy, yet meaningful, connections among survivors.
TAPS Online Community includes online sessions all geared towards building supportive communities, learning together as we process new information and perspective, and helping us find inspiration, clarity and connection.
Please remember that, while we anticipate that these groups will become engaging, encouraging community gathering “places,” you never have to wait if you need to talk. We’re always here for you, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, year round, at 202-588-8277.
Count on Connections: Online groups are peer-led, facilitated sessions where there’s never pressure to share, but always an opportunity. Whether you attend once or regularly, you will always be welcomed. We value the importance of knowing that there are “places” we can show up and feel supported from others of shared loss, and you can decide to connect with us every week or whenever it’s convenient or compelling.
Learn Together: These workshops and online series are intended to provide the opportunity for us to learn together, to have a shared experience, and to create community all which can help normalize our grief and contribute to healing along the way. Offerings include Theatre labs for both families and adults; online series in grief leadership; and webinars on grief and loss.
Monthly Sessions: Every month TAPS online offerings include three unique sessions that are aimed at exploring new ways of coping with your grief ranging from mindfulness to movement, and everything in between. Some sessions will involve materials for creative expression or simple tools for self-care. Information on what you might need will come with the email confirmation that you get when you register.
Peer Groups: Used to sharing your thoughts with the TAPS community via Peer Groups or internal blogs? New to sharing your thoughts and writing? To post a blog or to join a peer group and participate in discussions with survivors with similar loss and experiences, login or create an account. Under the Peer Groups tab, look for the "Join Peer Group" link found next to the peer group you are interested in joining.
