We request you sign up at least 24 hours before you attend this session so that we can ensure the integrity of the group and answer any questions you may have.
The path to creating the life you want (or, in some cases, our best option B) doesn't have to involve giant sweeping changes or all-or-nothing thinking. Instead, you can start living your way into a life that you're proud of, one step at a time. In this session, we will learn how to set realistic goals, to give ourselves credit for the small wins, to reset after lessons learned, and to achieve those wonderful dreams with realistic expectations.
What to Expect
Online groups are peer-led, facilitated sessions where there’s never pressure to share, but always an opportunity. Whether you attend once or regularly, you will always be welcomed. We value the importance of knowing that there are “places” we can show up and feel supported and inspired, and you can decide to connect with us every week or whenever it’s convenient or compelling.
Please remember that, while we anticipate that these groups will become engaging, encouraging community gathering “places,” you never have to wait if you need to talk. We’re always here for you, 24 hours, 7 days a week, year-round, at 202-588-8277.
Schedule
January’s online offerings include three unique sessions (they’re only available online!) that are aimed at bringing some mindfulness, some movement, and some motivation into the first month of your year. There may be no such thing as a “good start” to a year without your loved one, but we do know that there can be a better start.
Two of this month’s sessions involve materials (vision boards) or simple tools (self-care) - for those, more information on what you might need will come with the email confirmation that you get when you sign up. All of this month’s sessions are hosted by TAPS staff, who are also looking forward to seeing you and who are happy to answer any questions email online@taps.org.
Make sure to visit our Online Community page for additional coping skills sessions offered around coping skills and new topics each month.
