"Our lives have been forever changed by the loss of someone we love so much. You now have in TAPS a family who just 'gets it' and is here for you with patience and love." ~ Bonnie Carroll, TAPS Founder and President

We are here for you

TAPS offers help, hope and healing to all who are grieving the death of a military loved one, regardless of the relationship to the service member or the circumstances or cause of death.

TAPS is a family. A family of care, compassion and hope. We are here for you, whether you need someone to listen, a shoulder to cry on, a connection to resources, or an opportunity to remember and honor your loved one.

Your loss may be recent, or it may have been years ago. Grief is a journey; it has its own timetable — you do not have to face it alone.

We would like to reach out and personally share how TAPS can support you. Help us by telling us a little about yourself, your loved one, and the best way to reach you. TAPS was founded on the principle of peer support: that those with similar life experiences can provide the most comfort. Knowing more about you helps connect you with someone who has walked in your shoes. Any information you provide will be held in the strictest confidence.
