Introduction to Mind-Body Skills

Research has shown that mind-body skills can be helpful in coping with grief or other difficult and stressful situations. 

Join us at the TAPS Institute for Hope and Healing® in Arlington, Virginia for this informative workshop that will provide you with an introductory look into mind-body techniques. The session is recommended for participants who are unsure or hesitant about trying mind-body skills or would like to practice foundational mind-body skills.

The mind-body skills that will be taught are:

  • Breathing
  • Mindfulness Techniques
  • Stretching and Movement
  • Body Awareness and Functioning
  • Guided Imagery
