Overview

Our nervous systems are constantly responding to what is happening within us and around us. Grief can lead to feelings of stress and overwhelm where every day demands leave our bodies feeling like they are always “on.” Learning how to recognize these responses and intentionally create movements of calm can be a powerful way to care for ourselves.

WE Create & Meditate is a four-session creative experience exploring the connection between breath, the nervous system, and art. We will learn simple ways to activate the parasympathetic nervous system, the part of our nervous system that helps the body settle, rest, and regulate. Through these practices, we will explore how slowing down and creating can support us as we move through grief, process emotions, and make space for healing after loss.

No experience is needed. This is not about talent, but about presence, curiosity, and giving yourself permission to explore and create. The workshop honors creativity as a meaningful companion in grief, healing, and growth.
