Santa's chimney magic was a result of "laying a finger beside of his nose" - what if you, too, could transport yourself out of and through too-tight situations with simple movements and gestures? In this workshop, we'll talk about the ways that holiday stresses can manifest in our bodies - our movements, behaviors, and postures - and the ways that awareness can help us find more physical and emotional space and comfort. We'll learn and practice breathing techniques to build mental "insulation" and go through movements that can help us work through uncomfortable sensations and activating experiences. This is not a fitness-based workshop, and thus is appropriate for anyone wanting to learn more about the relationship between grief, emotions, breathing, and accessible body movements. At the conclusion of the workshop, participants will have several tools to use throughout a multicultural holiday season and into the new year.

This webinar is presented by the TAPS Institute for Hope and Healing®.
