Employer Matched Giving
Employer Matched Giving doubles the value of an employee’s gift to TAPS when their employer makes a matching donation equal to all or part of its employees’ charitable contributions. While many employers match gifts dollar-for-dollar, some companies will give double or even triple the original donation. Some may also give matching gifts for employees’ volunteer efforts. For example, when an employee participates in a Team TAPS race or other type of fundraising event, their employer may match the money they raise through sponsorships or other donations. Guidelines and amounts vary with each company and are not controlled by TAPS. Typically, individuals must submit forms to their employers.
