In November 2021, TAPS and the Spirit of America brought American surviving military family members to Iraq to find hope and healing and build bridges of mutual understanding with military families and survivors in Iraq. For all the families, this mission of solidarity was transformative - an enduring testament to the power of hope and peace over conflict and discord.
