In December, TAPS will be hosting the Third Annual International Working Group for Organizations Supporting Families of Military Deceased in Washington, D.C., USA (and online virtually) the week of December 7-11, 2020.
This annual gathering will offer leaders of organizations engaged in the care of grieving military families the chance to come together, learn from each other, and share best practices. The conference will offer both in person and virtual opportunities to participate.
If you are the leader of an organization supporting grieving military families, including widows and orphans of conflict, you are a candidate to attend the IWG and we are honored to extend this opportunity to you.
Funding and Logistics
For one delegate per country outside the U.S. we are able to provide up to $1,000 USD for travel. We will also fund the cost of lodging at the Conrad Hotel in downtown Washington, D.C. and provide many meals during the week. We understand that travel to the United States may not be possible, so the IWG will be available for participation virtually as well.
Please provide us with the name of your organization's select delegate who will attend the International Working Group in Washington, D.C. in person. We invite additional delegates to attend at personal or organization expense, and we also encourage an unlimited number of leaders from your organization to join us online, virtually.
