Youth Challenge Course at Reach Beyond
TAPS teens ages 12 to 18 are warmly invited to join TAPS for a special program of support, connection, healing and fun for youth survivors.
At this one-day event, for teens 12 to 18 years old, Reach Beyond creates new possibilities through experiential education. Their skilled team facilitates possibilities using activities and initiatives that develop trust, respect, creative problem solving, teamwork, communication skills and cooperation.
Challenge course elements will include the Zip Line, Flying Squirrel, Pamper Poll, Catwalk, Burma Bridge, and the Climbing Wall.

7:45 a.m. — TAPS Staff and Volunteer Mentors arrive at Reach Beyond Challenge Course.
8:15 a.m. — Families arrive at Reach Beyond Challenge Course / Introduction of TAPS staff and Volunteers / Event Sign-in / Sign Release Waiver Forms / Welcome Packets
9 a.m. — Reach Beyond and TAPS introductions
9:15 a.m. — Reach Beyond Team Building Programming
10:30 a.m. — Morning snacks
10:40 a.m. — Reach Beyond Low Elements Programing
11:45 a.m. — Lunch (local sponsor)
12:15 p.m. — Reach Beyond High Elements Programing
1:45 p.m. — Afternoon snacks
2 p.m. — Reach Beyond Climbing Wall and Zip Line Programming
3 p.m. — Reach Beyond programming ends / Dismissal
3:30 p.m. — TAPS and Reach Beyond debrief

Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, TAPS is able to provide this event to surviving teens at no cost. Lunch and T-shirts for all attendees will be provided. You will need to cover the cost of travel to and from the TAPS meeting location in Kennewick, Washington.
