2022 WXCY Military May Campaign to Support TAPS

This May, WXCY invites you to join us in standing up for Military Families in our area by supporting our Military May Campaign. We will be partnering with the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS), an organization that cares for the families of America’s fallen military heroes. They provide resources, casework assistance, educational connections and financial support to the children and spouses whose military loved one has died.

All month long WXCY will be highlighting the great work done by TAPS, and connecting the Military Families in our audience to the resources they need, while giving us all the opportunity to help.

The Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) is the leading national non-profit organization providing compassionate care and survivor support services for the families of America’s fallen military heroes. TAPS provides peer-based emotional support, grief and trauma resources, grief seminars for adults, Good Grief Camps for children, case work assistance, connections to community-based care, and a 24/7 resource and information helpline for all who have been affected by a military death. Since 1994, TAPS has offered support to more than 100,000 survivors of fallen military.
