TAPS Togethers: Salute & Serve Day at Valor Ranch, Decatur

This event is open to surviving military adults and children.

TAPS families are invited to join Valor Ranch Salute & Serve Day, where we will come together to prepare the aquaponics garden for its new building—a project that not only enhances our environment but also fosters a sense of camaraderie among all participants.

This event exemplifies the spirit of community support and connection that Valor Ranch embodies. Your volunteer efforts are instrumental in creating meaningful change for our female veterans, and we encourage you to join us on this collective journey towards healing and growth.

 

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

Location: Decatur, Texas 76234

Registration is required: Once you receive your registration confirmation, you will receive additional information for this event.

Upon Arrival: You can meet up with your TAPS Family, likely wearing their TAPS attire prior to beginning your service projects. 

Start Time: The project will start at 9:00 a.m. and conclude at 3:00 p.m.

Attire: We welcome survivors to wear any TAPS attire and/or photo button of their loved one if they have them available. This will allow you to easily identify one another.

Food: Lunch will be provided.

Entrance and Parking Fees:  None

Note: Please bring gloves and a power drill, if you have one.

About TAPS Togethers

Community is important!  This is why we create a broad variety of opportunities to bring the TAPS family together.  TAPS Togethers are one-day, organized, social events across the country, led by TAPS Staff or a survivor like you, with the goal of expanding our peer support community.
