TAPS Togethers: Youth Programs Drum Night
This event is open to all military surviving children and teens (kindergarten to 12th grade). Each child, regardless of age, must be accompanied the entire time by a parent or guardian.
Join us for TAPS Drum Night at the TAPS Headquarters Office in Arlington, Virginia. We will come together as a local TAPS family to build custom-made drums and learn a few riffs together. The evening is sure to be a great time of connection, fun, laughter and loud noises.
Drumming is known for its great benefits to our mental well-being, providing a place for us to exert some energy, focus our attention, and relieve some stress. Drumming allows us to release much needed endorphins throughout our body, making us feel better and lowering anxiety levels. Add to that, the support of some of our local military mentors, along with time with fellow TAPS families and friends, and that's a recipe for a fun night out!
All materials and drum supplies will be provided by TAPS. No food or beverage will be provided.
