TAPS Togethers: K9 Demonstration

This event is open to all military survivors. 

Join local TAPS survivors at The Simi Valley Police Department for a K9 demonstration. The Simi Valley Police Department K-9 Program is designed to utilize police dogs and handlers specially trained in crime scene, missing person, and building searches; suspect apprehensions; narcotics and explosives detection; and crowd control.  It is designed to be a Patrol function, able to assist any Officers when needed. The Simi Valley Police Department puts on K9 demonstrations in order to promote community awareness and acceptance of the Simi Valley Police Department K-9 Program as a viable and important crime prevention tool. You will be welcomed by a local TAPS peer mentor. We hope you can join us!
