Registration Close Date: November 16, 2022

This event is open to adult military survivors. Registration is limited, so be sure to sign up soon!

TAPS Togethers is thrilled to announce our partnership with H-E-B Operation Appreciation. H-E-B has generously offered to sponsor TAPS survivors as they perfect their pairings, practice new techniques, expand their repertoire, and improve their confidence in the kitchen! Cooking classes are taught by expert cooking school instructors at participating Central Market locations throughout Texas.

Add some drama to your culinary repertoire!  We'll review the basic techniques of sauteing and creating pan sauces,  and then move on to the art of finishing a dish by lighting it on fire. You'll practice the proper and safe techniques used to flambe cheese, seafood, steaks & dessert. After having fun and picking up a new skill, you'll enjoy sampling the results of your efforts.

  • Lobster Lisa in a Brandy Cream Sauce
  • Steak Diane with a Cognac Sauce
  • Crepes Suzette
