TAPS Together: Carry the Load Relay, Washington, D.C.
TAPS is honored to be a part of the 2021 Carry the Load National Relay as a National Non-Profit Partner.
We would love to have as many of you in the Washington, D.C. area who are able to participate and represent TAPS join in on this very moving and inspiring memorial walk as you honor your fallen heroes and carry them with you as you participate. TAPS Togethers is participating in two legs of the relay. The first leg is 4.59 miles and the second is 4.82 miles for a total of 9.4 miles. You are welcome to do one or both of the walks.

Transportation: All participants will be responsible for finding their own parking or transportation to the starting point. All participants will be responsible for finding their own transportation from the end point back to their parking location or point of origin.
Attire / What to Bring: In addition to TAPS shirts and attire, and photo buttons, we recommend that everyone wear comfortable walking shoes, and carry as few personal items with them as possible.
Food and Beverage: Bring water and a snack as food and beverage is not provided. Bring any needed medication.
