TAPS is honored to be a part of the 2023 Carry the Load National Relay as a National Non-Profit Partner.

TAPS Family members of all ages are invited to participate in this very moving and inspirational memorial walk as you honor and carry your fallen heroes and represent TAPS.

 

Meet-Up Details

Meeting Time:
10:30 a.m. (Please arrive and check in with TAPS NO later than 10:45 a.m.)

Meeting Point: 
Your TAPS Peer Mentor will be holding a TAPS paddle fan at the beginning of the route.

Important Notes

Transportation / Parking: All participants will be responsible for finding their own parking or transportation to the starting point. All participants will be responsible for finding their own transportation from the end point back to their parking location or point of origin. You will need to either walk back or "rideshare" by dropping off a car at the end of the route.

Attire / What to Bring: Be sure to wear your TAPS gear/attire if you have it and TAPS photo buttons as you honor your heroes during this event. We recommend that everyone wear comfortable walking shoes, and carry as few personal items with them as possible. 

Food and Beverage: Bring water and a snack as food and beverage is not provided. Bring any needed medication.
