TAPS Global Summit is an international conference with meetings held at the White House, US Capitol, TAPS National Headquarters, US Department of State, Embassies in Washington, and the Institute of Peace.

Delegates include those who have “made the ultimate sacrifice” in the fight for freedom and who now have a unique opportunity to form a global coalition to raise the next generation in stable societies.

Outcomes

  • Shared goal of raising the next generation free of violent extremism
  • Understanding that grief is universal; bringing cultures together to heal transgenerational trauma
  • Commitment to be a voice of intolerance of terrorism 

 

Attendance

TAPS welcomes all nations with organized programs supporting the families of deceased military members to attend.  Each nation may bring 2 official delegates, 1 delegate being a surviving family member and up to 5 total guests. These delegates will participate in working sessions and on panels. Additional global leaders in the prevention of violent extremism are also invited to attend all summit events.
