Bill Sather
Director, Accounting & Finance
Bill Sather first came to TAPS in 2016 as a contractor supporting the Finance team with closing an audit. Compelled by the mission, he officially stepped into his current role at TAPS Headquarters in Arlington, Virginia, in July 2017. Prior to joining TAPS, Bill enjoyed a long career leading financial operations for a variety of organizations. His varied experiences include leading finance teams for both a government contractor and a nonprofit voter registration organization.
Bill is a graduate of George Mason University, earning a B.S. in accounting, and has been a licensed CPA since 1997. Bill is honored to support the TAPS mission to bring care and comfort to the families of America's fallen heroes.
