Change of Venue -- Surviving Spouses Retreat
We have exciting news!!! We have secured a lower rate at a better hotel in Las Vegas (the MGM!!!!!) right on the strip, so here we go! We’re on the move and we haven’t even gotten there yet! J
This was a decision we had to make and hope you will understand the difficulties of planning a first time event. At the last minute, we were able to get a better rate at our preferred hotel and since we’re going to make this an annual gathering, we wanted to find the best “home” we could.
The MGM will:

IMPORTANT: IF YOU MADE HOTEL RESERVATIONS DIRECTLY AT THE ORLEANS: If you gave the Orleans your credit card...YOU MUST CALL THEM AND CANCEL (702) 365-7111..if they say they do not have any info on you and you previously gave them your credit card then get their name. We were instructed to tell you all that you were responsible to cancel with them directly if you made the reservations directly with the Orleans. Call me if this is not clear.
If you have registered through TAPS but not with the hotel please let us know how many will be in your room and who they are. This way we can account for all the rooms. We hope that you all take advantage of this weekend event and share your room with your fellow "fristers" for the bonding experience!!!
