The Child Intake Form must be completed for each child under age 20. Please note this form does not register a child for the Good Grief Camp.

8:30 - 10:00 Training for Group Leaders
10:00 - 1:30 Session I Training Day for Mentors
5:30 - 9:00 Session II - Training Day for Mentors
6:00 - 7:30 Registration I opens for Good Grief Camp
   
Friday, May 23, 2008
8:00  Mentors report to Groups
8:30 - 10:30 Registration II opens for Good Grief Camp
10:45 Good Grief Camp begins!
11:30 Lunch
12:45 Special Guests and special activities for each age group
4:40 - 5:00 Parents pick up children 12 and under from their Good Grief Camp group
5:00 Parents pick up teens from the Washington Ballroom (ages 13-19 yrs old)
5:00 Welcome Reception in the Crystal Ballroom with adults
6:30 Bus will depart for the USMC Evening Parade (meet in reception area)
7:30-8:30 Nighttime Driving Bus Tour of Washington, DC (meet in reception area)
10:00 Return from the USMC Evening Parade
   
Saturday, May 24, 2008
7:30 Group Leaders meet in the Boardroom
8:00 Mentors meet with their Group Leader
8:00 Breakfast with Parents
8:30  Good Grief Camp starts for the day with activities and age-appropriate support groups
11:30 Bus departs for Fort Myer
12:00 Lunch at Ft. Myer Dining; Caisson visit
3:30 Bus returns to the Hotel
6:00 Dinner at the Hotel / Evening Festivities at the Hotel
9:30 Adults rejoin kids for the night
   
Sunday, May 25, 2008
8:00 Breakfast with Parents.
8:00 Group Leaders meet in the Boardroom
8:30 Mentors meet with their Group Leader
9:00 Good Grief Camp starts for the day with activities and support groups
10:00-11:00 Memorial Balloon Release
11:30 Lunch for Good Grief Camp children
12:45 Group activities
3:00 Closing Session with Adults
5:00 Dinner on your own
6:30 Depart for National Symphony Orchestra Concert at the US Capitol and children attend with adults (meet in reception area)
7:00 National Symphony Orchestra Concert at the US Capitol begins
Monday, May 26, 2008
6:00 - 7:00 Breakfast with Parents
7:15 Bus leaves for Arlington National Cemetery (meet in reception area)
11:00 Memorial Day Ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery begins
1:00 Early bus returns to hotel
2:00  Last bus returns to hotel
