For Siblings
Join us as we explore the city of Austin! We will be spending time participating in adventurous activities, bonding and sharing stories about our heroes. We hope to see you there!
Please note that retreats are different from seminars in two key ways. Our retreats are for adults 19 and over. If you're under 19, we encourage you to look at TAPS Good Grief Camps and Campouts. Second, retreats are quite active. Past retreats have included horseback riding, kayaking, and zip lining. We'll definitely be out and about, so be sure that walking distances and participating in outdoor activities are comfortable for you!

Event Dates
Plan to arrive Wednesday, October 16th in Austin, Texas as the adventure starts first thing Thursday morning! We wrap up Saturday night, so we'll be headed back to the airport on Sunday.

Registration Information
Thanks to donor support, TAPS will take care of all lodging, activity costs, and most meals! Participants need to get themselves to Austin and once you're there simply cover the costs of one meal per day. Because spots for this event are limited to 40 surviving siblings, there will be a $50 fully refunded deposit needed at registration to hold your spot on the retreat. TAPS will refund the $50 at the end of the retreat if you attend. Also, preference for registration will be given to those who have not yet been able to attend a retreat. Registration will open two months before the event. We ask that survivors register for one retreat per year at first. If there are openings in the registration after 24 hours, we will open it up to those who have already attended a retreat in the last year. Registration Confirmation: Email support@taps.org if you DO NOT receive a confirmation email after registering.
