For widows, widowers and widowed significant others We are going back to Alaska!! Come enjoy hiking and exploring in the pristine wilderness! We will top off the trip participating in the Big Wild Life Run! This race includes a 5K, Half Marathon, Marathon Relay and Marathon. Walk, run or cheer on your fellow widows, widowers and widowed significant others!

Event Dates Plan to arrive Wednesday, August 14-18th in Anchorage, Alaska as the adventure starts first thing Thursday morning! We wrap up Saturday night, so we'll be headed back to the airport on Sunday.

Registration Information

Thanks to donor support, TAPS will take care of all lodging, activity costs, and most meals! Participants need to get themselves to Alaska and once you're there simply cover the costs of one meal per day.

Because spots for this event are limited to 40 surviving spouses and surviving significant others, there will be a $50 fully refunded deposit needed at registration to hold your spot on the retreat. TAPS will refund the $50 at the end of the retreat if you attend. Also, preference for registration will be given to those who have not yet been able to attend a retreat this year.
