Military Bear Project
For the fifth year, we are offering our guests the opportunity to participate in our heartwarming Military Bear Project! To brighten the life of a TAPS child, a cuddly teddy bear will be given to a TAPS child in your name with a personal note you have written to your child accompanying your gift. These bears are dressed in the uniform of the military branch of the child’s lost loved one. $100 donation requested.
Event & TAPS T-Shirts
We are making available for our guests the special red t-shirts commemorating this event as well as our custom designed TAPS t-shirts with bling in black or blue. $20 donation requested.
Celebrity CDs
Many of our performing celebrities bring their CDs to sell and donate all the sales proceeds to TAPS. Enjoy listening to your favorite artist while helping a great cause. $20 donation requested.
TAPS Baghdad Bracelets
When Bonnie Carroll served in Baghdad, Iraq, she was moved by the Iraqi women and their overwhelming appreciation for the sacrifice of the Americans serving there. It was common for many of the Iraqi women to give away jewelry to their friends, and they often wore many of these beautiful beaded bracelets for just this opportunity. A limited number of these bracelets are available, which make very special gifts. Help support TAPS by buying them to wear and, in the tradition of the Iraqi women, to share. $20 donation requested.
Klinger Books
This fictional story was written for TAPS in honor of all of America’s beloved fallen heroes, but it is based on a real horse that serves in the Caisson Platoon at Arlington National Cemetery.
A tale of honor and hope, this beautifully illustrated, full color, hardback children's book tells the story of a young horse dreaming of fame as a racehorse. But his life is disrupted when he must leave his parents and start a new life. Faced with difficulty and disappointment, Klinger’s dream of significance seems unattainable. He then discovers that fame is not necessary, as he finds fulfillment in honoring fallen heroes and bringing comfort to their families. This makes a perfect gift for the children in your lives or for anyone who loves an uplifting story. $20 donation requested.
