About the Young Adults Women’s Retreat

Join us at Wesley Gardens Retreat in Savannah, Georgia, for a weekend centered on getting to know fellow survivors, exploring Savannah together and diving into our stories. Together we will gather tools for our healing journey through adventure, art, and more!

Whether we’re out exploring the city, creating something together, sharing stories, or simply enjoying each other’s company, this weekend is an opportunity to connect with people who understand and to remind one another that we don’t have to navigate loss alone.

Hosted in partnership with the NFL.

Who Should Attend

This retreat is open to all female adult survivors of any relationship between the ages of 18 and 30. Due to the unique nature of our events, this Retreat is intended for those survivors whose loss occurred more than 1 year ago.

Schedule

  • Day 1: Arrival Day with evening welcome session
  • Days 2–3: Facilitated group sessions and outdoor activities
  • Day 4: Departure Day

Activity Level

This retreat is rated Activity Level 2, our moderate-intensity physical activity level, that will include active daily movement, walking up to 1-3 miles at a time, and opportunities to challenge yourself. Physical activities can be modified within reason. Please indicate any concerns or questions you have regarding physical challenges on the retreat in your application.

These retreats are designed for most participants with the expectation that everyone participates regardless of physical ability, as accommodations will always be available on these retreats.
