TAPS Togethers: Sally Dark Rides Tour, Jacksonville
This event is open to all TAPS survivors, both adults and children (ages 7 and older), who have experienced a military or veteran loss.
Join your TAPS Family for an hour of connection learning about amusement ride development at a Sally Dark Rides Tour.
Sally Dark Rides experiences are where millions of families laugh, play, and enjoy time together. Their rides are defined by unparalleled storytelling, and the memories that stem from those stories. They value those guest experiences that turn into traditions - from one generation to the next- being shared with friends and family for decades to come.

Location: Jacksonville, Florida 32204
Registration is required: Once you receive your registration confirmation, you will receive additional information for this event.
Parking: There is free parking available at the facility.
Upon Arrival: Plan to meet other TAPS families in the theater at Sally Dark Rides. Only TAPS families will be participating in this tour.
Attire: We encourage you to wear your TAPS attire and/or a photo button of your loved one if you have them. This will allow you to more easily identify one another at the event.
What to Expect: The tour guide will take you through each of the production departments, i.e., art and costuming, mechanical, pneumatics and programming, and explain the department's role in the robot building process. There will be opportunities for the group to ask questions along the way. The tour will begin and end in the theater.
Cost: This event is free and open to the public.
Note: While we are promoting this community event as an opportunity for connection, it is not directly organized by TAPS. Therefore, TAPS will not have a host at the event. If you would like to be the onsite facilitator, please email us at tapstogethers@taps.org.
