TAPS Togethers: Armed Services Arts Partnership Creative Writing Graduation Show, Alexandria
This event is open to all TAPS adult survivors who have experienced a military or veteran loss.
Join your TAPS family at the Armed Services Arts Partnership Creative Writing Graduation Show. The writers from ASAP's Creative Writing class have been busy — 6 weeks of digging deep, building skills, and swapping ideas. Now, they're ready to share their work.
At this show, you'll experience original pieces from military-connected writers, brought to life through a creative mix of words and multimedia. Come cheer them on, soak up the stories, and see what happens when you combine hard work with serious imagination.
The Armed Services Arts Partnership (ASAP) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that provides free comedy and arts classes to the military community, including veterans, reservists, service members, spouses, family members, and caregivers. ASAP classes include Stand-up Comedy, Storytelling, Improv, Acting, Creative Writing, Visual Arts, Music, and on and on. The culminating event of classes are ASAP's graduation shows, where class participants perform their newly-acquired skills for friends and family. ASAP performances are fun, informal events where the military-connected community can gather and show support for other members of the military family.
